Since my first gallery show Ive been feeling good about showing my art in more places. At this moment I am in a juried submission to start working and showing my artwork at another venue. Im also hoping that in September I’ll be juried at a show in Clarendon.
Archer Art Gallery
Im happy to announce that on August 10th at 6 pm will be my first time exposing my artwork at a gallery. This is very excited for me and i’m definitely super happy to be doing something that will give me more confidence and exposure at a different level. Hope to do many more.
It’s been a while
It's definitely been a while since I wrote something. I have been pretty busy like never before. I’ve learned so much this past month, I am very comfortable with large pieces and more realistic style. I think it's time I open myself to do them more often. I’ll practice now and in a near future will be another style I will able to do. Stay safe out there.
Moving to
Almost there, I have one more day at the old shop before I move to Dark Cloud Tattoo Collective. Many moves will be made and so ready to start this new path.
Delicate lines
Definitely a difficult style of tattoo. I’ve been doing a lot of really detail small/medium sizes tattoos recently and it takes a lot of precision to execute them right. I love my new machine. It’s a Mast by dragon hawk. Very affordable and very hard hitting. I have a new one for shading and packing on the way. So let’s hope I have the same results. :)
Stay safe people.
Busy couple of weeks
I’ve been working like crazy. Doing big projects, small designs and medium complicated tattoos. For some reason this pandemic is keeping g me busy which is awesome but I wish it didnt have to be like this. Anyway more to come stay tune guys. Thank you.
Painting
I’ve been so busy I haven’t painted in a while. I miss painting and I hope I can make some time to get back at it soon. More skulls for sure.
Knee Cap
A couple of days ago I did my first knee cap tattoo and it was quite the lesson. It’s a very stretchy part, to me even more than ribs. Quite awkward to handle and it takes a lot to packed in color. Definitely will do it again.
Chest work
Last night I had to do a small/medium size chest tattoo, I can say I fell more comfortable and secure about how to do them, how to position myself and how to ask the client to help stretch his skin. So it was a good night indeed.
Into skulls
I’ve been working on my draw skills to start doing some more free hand skulls tattoos. I will be putting a lots of work and a lots of details into this. So stay posted.
